Minigrant Application Workshop Oakland/Macomb

01:00 pm - 12/19/2017

@ Warren Community Center

5460 Arden Ave Frnt
Warren MI  48092-4378

The Anton Art Center is the Region 10A Regranting Agency for the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs (MCACA), and will award minigrants to nonprofit organizations, schools, municipalities and individual professional artists in Macomb and Oakland counties in support of arts and culture programming and professional or organizational development.

The Anton Art Center is offering a series of free informational workshops on minigrant guidelines and the application process. Funds are awarded on a competitive basis, and organizations will benefit from submitting a well-written grant application and supporting materials which conform to the guidelines. Though not required, new and prospective applicants are encouraged to attend one of these workshops.

Round 2 applications are due by 11:59pm on January 15, 2018 through www.mcaca.egrant.net.

Workshops will address the two categories of funding:
1:00pm: Arts and Culture Projects – organizations may apply for grants of up to $4,000.
2:30pm: Professional or Organizational Development – individual professional artists and organizations may apply for grants of up to $1,500.

You may choose to attend either or both of these sessions.

More information, including current application guidelines, is available at www.theartcenter.org/minigrants.

Please RSVP for an application workshop to Phil Gilchrist at pgilchrist@theartcenter.org or call 586-469-8666.

Thank you to the Warren Community Center for hosting this workshop! This workshop is made possible through financial support from the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs.
